Pattaya, Thailand – At 5:36 AM on August 16th, 2025, the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue Unit in Pattaya received a report of a motorcycle collision with multiple injuries. The incident occurred on the road parallel to the railway in Soi Nern Plab Wan. Rescue volunteers and officers promptly responded to the scene.
At the site, authorities found a severely damaged black Honda Scoopy motorcycle, registered in Khon Kaen overturned on the roadside. Three Thai women were injured. The other vehicles involved were two Honda PCX motorcycles—one blue and one red—also damaged. Two individuals, believed to be Arab tourists, sustained injuries. Rescue teams provided first aid to all five victims before urgently transporting them to a hospital.
According to local witnesses, a group of Thai women, possibly riding triple on a motorcycle, entered the soi (alley) and collided with a group of Arab tourists riding multiple motorcycles along the railway road. The impact sent both vehicles and riders scattering in different directions. Residents quickly alerted authorities to the scene. It was not immediately clear who was at fault and it was sprinkling at the time.
Nongprue Police Station officers documented the scene and collected evidence, including reviewing CCTV footage to determine the cause of the accident. The investigation aims to ensure fairness for all parties involved.
