A 55-year-old man, later identified as Supalerk, is found dead, his left leg chained to a tree in a deserted field. Police are left with more questions than answers.

It’s a cattle herder who first alerts police at Sam Kwai Puak station on October 2, 2025.

Supalerk lies on his back atop fertiliser sacks. He wears a camouflage T-shirt and black shorts.
His left ankle is chained tightly to a tree. Nearby, officers spot a blue apron, flip-flops, soft drink bottles, a water bottle, three packets of herbicide, and a pink bicycle.
The cattle herder’s routine visit turns into a nightmare.
Family’s Agony and Silence
Police estimate Supalerk has been dead for two to three days. His wife had already filed a missing person report.
His daughter pleads for help on social media. The family’s worry turns to devastation.
When Supalerk’s wife arrives at the scene, she confirms his identity. But the family refuses to speak to reporters, their silence adding to the sense of mystery.
CCTV Footage Deepens the Puzzle
