British Teen Vanishes in Pattaya: Fears He’s Lured by Crime Gangs

Mystery as British Teen Disappears in Pattaya

Nineteen-year-old Lawrence Stallard Honour simply vanishes from Pattaya.
It’s September 26, 2025—the last time anyone sees him.

His mother, Russian national Ms Kunnara Fatakova, rushes to the Pattaya City Police. She files a missing person report within hours.

Sifting through his emails, she makes a chilling discovery. Lawrence is last tracked near the remote border with Myanmar.

The governor of Kanchanaburi, Athisan Intra, reacts at once. He orders a massive search. Every agency is told to scour CCTV and hunt for the missing teen.

The trail leads to the wild, isolated Dreipass district—right on the edge of Thailand and Myanmar.

Desperate Bid to Cross the Border

Surveillance cameras at a quiet resort in Ban Dan Chedi Sam Ong catch Lawrence on September 27 at 3:32pm.
He asks to charge his phone, then vanishes on foot.

That same day, he tries to cross into Myanmar’s border town, Payathonzu.

A border official reveals, “Our team tried to stop him and explained he had no permission to enter.”
But there’s something odd—Lawrence is constantly on the phone. Is he talking to smugglers or criminal gangs?

Slipping Through the Fence—and Into Danger

Lawrence crawls towards the border fence. Officers intercept him and put him on a bus, sending him back inland.

But in a sudden moment, he slips away.
Authorities believe he finally makes it to Payathonzu—possibly meeting contacts there.

His mother describes him as “quiet, but clever, with strong computer skills.”
It’s exactly this talent that makes teens like Lawrence targets for ruthless call-centre syndicates operating in the borderlands.

Race to Rescue: Police Follow New Leads

A new clue emerges—a local teacher picks Lawrence up hitchhiking to Sangkhlaburi.
Police track down the teacher and question him, hoping for answers about Lawrence’s plans and contacts.

Authorities launch an emergency hotline, pleading for public help.
Anyone with information should call 191, his mother at 087-063-2177, or Sangkhlaburi Police at 034595300.

Every Hour Counts in Hunt for Missing Teen

Time is running out.
If Lawrence falls into the hands of call-centre gangs, he faces exploitation, violence, and months of captivity.

Thai police are now working closely with Myanmar officials.
Will they find Lawrence before it’s too late?
