Street Brawl Turns Into Perfect Cover for Thieves
It’s a typical night in Pattaya—until chaos erupts. CCTV footage, shared with AEC News Pattaya, captures the moment a foreign man in a blue T-shirt clashes violently with another tourist in white outside a bustling bar near a currency exchange booth.
A Thai woman, dressed in a black top and jeans, desperately tries to drag her boyfriend away from the fight. In the frantic struggle, her shoulder bag slips from her grasp and lands on the street. She doesn’t notice. But someone else does.

‘Helpers’ Reveal Their True Colours
At first, a woman in brown seems to step in to break up the scuffle. But her attention quickly shifts. Instead of returning the fallen bag, she tosses it aside—straight towards a cluster of parked motorbikes and a busy street food stall.
There, a second suspect—posing as a food vendor—swiftly scoops up the bag. He places it in a motorcycle basket, then hides it in his cart. The theft is slick, calculated, and over in seconds.
Victim Realises Too Late
The woman remains focused on the brawl, unaware her belongings are gone. Only when police officers in black vests arrive to separate the fighting men does she spot her missing bag.
She rushes to file a report at Mueang Pattaya Police Station. “I just want my things back,” she says, her voice trembling. She refuses to reveal what valuables were inside or how much the loss is worth, but her distress is clear.

Police Hunt for Shameless Suspects
The Facebook news page tags Chon Buri Provincial Police, hoping to speed up the search. So far, there’s no word from police or fresh leads from social media.
The CCTV footage shows the suspects’ faces in sharp detail, raising hopes for a quick arrest. But the brazenness of the theft, carried out in plain sight, has left the Thai online community outraged. Will these bold criminals get away with it—or will justice finally catch up?
