Victim’s Costly Mistake: Key Left in Ignition
Kittipong parks his Honda Wave 125 with a yellow license plate outside his house at 18:00 after picking up his child from school. In the rush of daily life, he forgets to remove the key from the ignition. He heads inside to work and shower, unaware of what’s about to happen.
Family members sit near the entrance, but no one notices the thief. The criminal acts fast, stealing the bike in less than a minute. “I never thought something like this could happen so quickly,” Kittipong says. Police urge all residents to secure their vehicles at all times.
What the Pattaya Thief Got Away With
The thief’s haul goes beyond just the motorcycle. Inside the helmet compartment and under the seat, he finds important documents and tools. Among the stolen items: the vehicle’s paperwork, a green-black drill, a cordless screwdriver, and a pair of sunglasses.
