Police Strike in Midnight Meth Sting
It’s just after 2am on a lonely stretch of Highway 3487 in Suphan Buri.
Suddenly, flashing lights cut through the darkness. Officers from the Metropolitan Police Division and local investigators swoop in.
Their target: a 36-year-old man named Achrasit, behind the wheel of a Bangkok-registered Isuzu D-Max pickup.
He doesn’t stand a chance.
Haul Stuns Even Seasoned Officers
What police find inside the pickup leaves them speechless.
Fifteen bulging packages—packed with a staggering 3,080,000 methamphetamine tablets. The street value? Several million Baht.
Officers also seize two mobile phones, believed to be vital for the gang’s operations.
“This is a major blow to a powerful drug network,” one officer says at the scene.

Secret Rice Hut Yields More Shocking Evidence
But the night’s drama is far from over.
Investigators push on to a remote hut in Moo 1, Mod Daeng. The building looks innocent—just a rice store, or so it seems.
Inside, police uncover eight more bundles of meth tablets. Each bundle holds around 10,000 pills, adding another 80,000 to the total.
The hiding place is cunning. “They used farm buildings to mask their crimes,” a detective reveals. But this time, police are one step ahead.
Links to Previous Mega-Bust Revealed
This isn’t the first time the network has hit headlines.
Back in May, police in Prachin Buri seized five million meth pills. Now, investigators connect the dots—identifying Achrasit’s pickup as part of the same trafficking system.
Surveillance teams had tracked the vehicle through Suphan Buri and Kanchanaburi before making their move.
“This coordinated effort shows just how far our anti-drug units have come,” says a senior officer.
Suspect Faces Severe Charges
Achrasit now faces charges of possessing a Category-1 drug with intent to distribute—a crime that carries harsh penalties under Thai law.
Police warn that such offences are “a threat to public safety and national stability.”
The investigation is far from over. Officers are racing to identify more gang members. Interrogations could soon lead to more raids on secret warehouses and safe houses.
Nationwide Crackdown Intensifies
This dramatic bust is part of a sweeping campaign to dismantle major drug operations across central Thailand.
Police vow to keep up the pressure on ruthless cartels.
“This seizure will hit the network hard,” an official insists. But the fight is far from finished. “New dealers are always waiting in the shadows.”
The war on drugs, it seems, is never truly over.
