Brazen Thieves Steal 10 Million Baht Safe—Then Sip Wine in Garden

Audacious Heist at Luxury Villa—Caught on Camera

Police in Trang are left reeling after a break-in straight out of a crime thriller.

The lavish home of Adisorn Tanhenchuan, president of the Federation of Southern Industries, becomes the scene of a jaw-dropping theft on October 1, 2025.

Despite more than ten surveillance cameras, two thieves slip in undetected—at first.

Footage reveals one man with his head and face hidden by a T-shirt. His accomplice, tall and thin, goes shirtless but also covers his face.

They scale the front wall, smash a window and a back door, and leave a trail of blood through the house and by the pool.

Safe Packed with Riches—Gone in Minutes

The stolen safe is a treasure chest.

Inside: 2.8 million Baht in cash, a prized amulet worth over 1 million Baht, more amulets, gold chains, diamond rings, luxury watches, and more.

Police estimate the total haul at over 10 million Baht.

But the most outrageous detail? The thieves don’t rush. They crack open a bottle and drink half of it in the garden before fleeing.

Officers collect DNA from the wine bottle and fingerprints, hoping for a match.

Family’s Narrow Escape

Adisorn tells police he’s away on business in Bangkok since September 28.

Only his 89-year-old mother and a housemaid are home during the break-in.

“It’s a relief no one was hurt,” Adisorn says, visibly shaken but grateful.

Suspects Tracked Down—One Confesses All

Investigators soon identify the suspects: Sarawut, 41, and Nutchapong, 31, both from Krabi province.

Police trace their escape route and arrest Nutchapong on October 2 in a rented room in Krabi’s Khlong Tom district.

He confesses to pocketing 1 million Baht from the loot.

He admits spending 55,000 Baht on a new motorcycle and 4,000 Baht on a phone.

Nutchapong claims he didn’t know whose house he was robbing.

He also confesses to one or two previous burglaries before targeting Adisorn’s villa.

He says he has no idea where Sarawut is hiding, but apologises to Adisorn for his crimes.

Manhunt and Reward—Community on Edge

Adisorn breathes easier after the quick arrest but wants justice served.

He offers a 100,000 Baht reward for information leading to Sarawut’s capture.

Police ramp up their search.

Locals are left shocked by the criminals’ nerve—and the sheer scale of the crime. The hunt for Sarawut continues.
