Notorious ‘Ann Naklua’ Busted: Police Uncover Drug and Gun Haul in Pattaya

Undercover Sting in Pattaya’s Soi 13/1

The notorious Chatklom Rungsangchon, 42, better known as ‘Ann Naklua’, is finally behind bars. Her arrest comes after a dramatic undercover operation by Banglamung district officials and Pattaya City Police.

The tip-off? A sharp-eyed local, using the “Broken Down Banglamung” LINE app, alerts authorities to Ann’s suspicious activities along Pattaya Beach and Soi 13/1.

District chief Patcharaphat Srithanyanon says, “We acted immediately on the information.” Officers launch a covert sting: an undercover agent arranges to buy ketamine and methamphetamine—known as ‘Ice’—right outside a short-term rental in Soi 13/1.

Caught Red-Handed: The Moment Police Strike

Ann arrives on her grey Forza scooter, ready to deliver the drugs. But police are waiting.

She’s caught red-handed. Officers search her and find five ketamine tablets. But this is just the beginning.

What they discover next is truly chilling.

Shocking Discovery: Weapons and Drugs Inside Her Home

Police search Ann’s three-storey townhouse in Naklua. On the third floor, they find a black box. Inside: two firearms, 50 rounds of ammunition, drug paraphernalia, and piles of zip-lock bags.

Downstairs, the real shock awaits. In a black storage box, officers uncover a massive stash of drugs.

Huge Drug Haul Worth Hundreds of Thousands

The haul is staggering: 132 methamphetamine tablets (Yaba), 91.88 grams of crystal meth (‘Ice’), and 23 ecstasy pills. Police also seize a digital scale and packaging materials.

The street value? Several hundred thousand Baht, say investigators.

District chief Patcharaphat is clear: “This success shows how vital public cooperation is.” He urges locals to keep using the “Broken Down Banglamung” app to report drug activity—anonymously and safely.

Police Crack Down on Pattaya’s Drug Scene

Ann Naklua now faces charges of drug possession with intent to sell and illegal firearms offences. She’s handed over to Pattaya City Police.

Authorities insist this is just the start. “We are determined to fight drug crime and build drug-free communities,” officers say.

Will this dramatic bust finally shake Pattaya’s underworld? The message is clear: the days of Ann Naklua’s reign are over—or are they?
